About the CVA

Founded around 1965 and incorporated in 1988, the Central Virginia Arts Association--a partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts--is a non-profit organization bringing together artists and art appreciators at lectures, workshops, exhibits, tours and socials throughout the year. The CVA serves Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward Counties. For more information, email info@centralvirginiaarts.org.

Central Virginia Arts (CVA) is a membership organization and depends upon the dues paid by members to fulfill its mission. Participation in lectures, workshops, and exhibits requires a membership in the CVA. Dues are paid annually, and dues for each calendar year are payable from October through December. For an individual, the annual membership dues are $20.00; for a couple or family, the annual membership dues are $25.00; and for Contributing or Business Members, the annual membership dues are $40.00.

The CVA maintains and uses two eMail Subscriber Lists--one for CVA Followers and one for CVA Members. Periodic emails are sent using an email marketing service called MailChimp. Be sure to add "info@centralvirginiaarts.org" to your address book to ensure you receive all emails. If you are using an Android operated mobile device to check your email, these emails with be automatically put in your "Promotions" folder. You can change that setting on your device from the open email.
