Annual Membership Picnic Date and Location Set!
Mark your calendar! The Annual CVA Membership Picnic is set for Saturday, September 26, 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at the home of Cynthia & Chris Wood, at 100 Tucker Avenue, Crewe, VA.
Many of you know Cynthia--not just as Past President of CVA--as a master gardener and author of the Farmville Herald regular column on plants and gardening. She will say in all modesty that fall is not the best time for her garden, but I think we will all be treated. And, if you would like to bring your easel and paints, it will be a great opportunity for plein air painting!
